As a furnituremaker/interior fitter, you will be working on exclusive interior fittings for luxury yachts. You will read and interpret technical drawings and put them into practice with precision. You will be responsible for independently crafting and assembling furniture, ceilings, wall panels and staircases. In addition, you will fit hardware and ensure a perfect finish on every component.

An important part of the role involves installing and fitting furniture on site. These components are produced by your colleagues in the workshop and are professionally installed by you on board luxury yachts. Where necessary, you will work at external locations and support colleagues in other departments. You will also have the opportunity to mentor interns and apprentice furniture makers.

• Level 3 vocational education (MBO) standard;
• Preferably a completed qualification in cabinetmaking;
• Experience in cabinetmaking, interior fit-out or ship’s carpentry;
• Experience in working with veneer and solid wood is an advantage;
• You can read and interpret technical drawings;
• You work accurately and have an eye for detail;
• You have good communication skills and work well with colleagues;
• Flexible attitude and willing to work on site if necessary.
