As an Aluminium Section Fitter, you will be part of the Metal department, where you will work alongside specialists in steel, aluminium, doors & hatches, and cable trays. Together, you will build the aluminium hulls and sections that form the basis of exclusive superyachts.

Your duties will include:

• Assembling and building aluminium sections based on technical drawings.
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and welding instructions.
• Checking the dimensions, shape and quality of components.
• Joining and welding sections and structural components.
• Moving and clamping workpieces where necessary.
• Ensuring a safe, tidy and organised workplace.
• Working with colleagues to deliver projects on schedule and to quality standards.

• A completed technical qualification or demonstrable relevant work experience.
• Experience in yacht or shipbuilding is an absolute must.
• Demonstrable experience in building and assembling aluminium sections (the emphasis is on building, not on welding).
• Ability to read technical drawings and diagrams independently.
• Valid 131 (MIG aluminium) welding certificates, issued by an IACS-accredited classification society (preferably Lloyd’s Register, Bureau Veritas or DNV).
• High standards of quality and an eye for detail.
• Good communication skills.
• Good command of the English language; Dutch is an advantage.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
