As a Section Builder, you play a vital role in constructing luxury motor yachts. You will work with thin material (maximum 8-10 mm), where precision and high-quality standards are crucial. You’ll perform tack welding with Covered Electrode in all positions and independently read drawings and parts lists to check the assembly package. Safe hoisting, moving loads with a crane, and maintaining a clean workspace are second nature to you. Your workday starts by reviewing the planning and gathering and inspecting the required parts. You read the work drawings, discuss details with colleagues, and begin assembling and tack welding sections. You safely move materials with the crane, perform oxy-fuel cutting and grinding as needed, and carry out interim quality checks. • At least 2 to 5 years of relevant work experience, ideally 5 to 10 years
• Experience working with thin material (8-10 mm) and high precision
• Ability to tack weld in all positions with Covered Electrode
• Able to read and interpret drawings and parts lists independently
• Proficiency in Dutch or English; Dutch is a plus
• Certificates for Safe Hoisting and Electrode Welding
• Experience with oxy-fuel cutting, grinding, and using a theodolite/leveling instrument
• Able to work both independently and in pairs
• Accurate, clean, and structured working style
• Strong communication skills and team spirit
