As a CNC Miller/Turner, you will be responsible for manufacturing high-quality components using CNC lathes and milling machines. You will work independently from technical drawings and programme the machines directly at the control panel. You will determine the correct sequence of operations, select the appropriate tools and clamping arrangements, and ensure that the products meet the specified quality requirements.
Your duties will include:
- Programming CNC lathes and milling machines independently at the machine.
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings.
- Determining the optimal sequence of operations.
- Selecting, setting up and changing tools.
- Determining the correct clamping method.
- Checking dimensions using various measuring tools.
- Machining single items and small to medium-sized batches.
- Monitoring the quality of the end product.

- MBO level of working and thinking, preferably specialising in Machining Technology.
- Experience as a CNC Milling Operator and/or CNC Turning Operator.
- Experience in on-machine programming.
- Experience with various CNC control systems.
- Experience with power tools.
- You can read technical drawings independently.
- Experience in using measuring tools.
- Good knowledge of materials and tools.
- You work accurately and with a focus on quality.
- A flexible approach to work; an 8-to-5 mentality is not for you.
- A varied and independent role within a stable technical manufacturing company.
