As a Pipefitter, you will be deeply involved in the fabrication and installation of piping systems aboard luxury yachts. You will be part of the Pipefitters discipline within the Mechanical Engineering department, responsible for cutting, tacking, welding, soldering, and finishing pipework. You will independently select the appropriate materials and methods and ensure a safe and organized workspace. An average workday involves precisely measuring and processing pipes, reading ISOmetric drawings and schematics, and performing TIG welding tasks. You will continuously monitor the quality of your work and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Additionally, you will regularly report to the mechanical engineering foreman regarding the progress and quality of the work. • MBO level 4 working and thinking level
• At least 1 to 2 years of experience as a pipefitter, preferably in yacht or shipbuilding
• Proficiency in TIG welding
• Ability to read ISOmetric drawings
• Knowledge of materials such as stainless steel, steel, Cunifer, and aluminum
• Proficiency in Dutch and English
