As a Pipefitter, you are responsible for independently installing, assembling, and mounting piping on board ships. You work with steel, stainless steel, and Cunifer, and perform tasks based on P&IDs, isometric drawings, and technical specifications. In addition to fitting, you perform TIG tack welding on pipes and supports. You continuously monitor the quality of your work and ensure a safe and tidy workplace.
Your duties include, among others:
- Independently fabricating and assembling steel and stainless steel piping.
- Reading and interpreting P&IDs, isometric drawings, and technical drawings.
- Surveying, setting out, and manufacturing pipe sections.
- Making and mounting pipe clamps and supports.
- TIG tack welding of pipes, clamps, and supports.
- Assembling flanges, fittings, and pipe components.
- Processing pipes by sawing, grinding, chamfering, and preparing them for welding.
- Performing pressure tests and quality checks. Work in accordance with applicable safety and quality regulations.

- At least several years of experience as an independent Pipefitter.
- Experience with steel, stainless steel, and preferably Cunifer piping.
- Ability to work independently based on P&IDs and isometric drawings.
- Experience with TIG tack welding.
- Experience with fabricating pipe clamps and supports.
- Knowledge of flanges, fittings, gaskets, couplings, and piping materials.
- Experience with thick-walled, thin-walled, and double-walled piping.
- Experience with pressure testing and quality control is a plus.
- Good command of the Dutch or English language.
- In possession of a valid VCA certificate.
- Ability to work independently (no pairs).
- A full-time position within challenging yacht building and maritime projects.
- 40-hour work week in the first week, averaging 45 hours per week thereafter.
