As a Hard Piping Fitter, you will be responsible for the independent fabrication, installation and welding of steel and stainless steel pipework on board luxury superyachts. You will work from general arrangement drawings and isometric drawings, ensuring that all pipework systems are constructed precisely in accordance with specifications. You will continuously monitor the quality of your work and adhere to the highest safety standards.

Your duties will include:

• Reading and interpreting general arrangement and isometric drawings.
• Fabricating and installing steel and stainless steel pipework independently.
• Fitting pipe brackets and supports.
• TIG welding pipe joints and brackets.
• Checking dimensions and quality during and after installation.
• Keeping pipework capped to prevent contamination.
• Identifying any deviations and reporting them to your line manager.
• Working in accordance with the applicable safety, quality and environmental requirements.

• At least 5 years’ experience as a Hard Piping Fitter in the yacht or shipbuilding industry.
• Ability to work independently using technical drawings and isometrics.
• Experience in fabricating and installing steel and stainless steel pipework.
• Experience in TIG tack welding.
• Hold a valid Dutch VCA certificate.
• Good command of the Dutch and/or English languages.
• Accurate, quality-conscious and safety-oriented.
