As a Project Engineer, you play a crucial role within our Technical Office. You are responsible for the preparation, planning, and management of the design and engineering process for new construction or conversion projects. You support the Project Manager and ensure that projects are completed within the specified specifications, schedule, budget, and quality requirements. Your week starts with a meeting where you and your team review the tasks for the week. You work closely with the Project Manager and other project team members, providing leadership to technical draftsmen and project assistants. Your task package is diverse and requires you to understand the client's requirements and wishes well. You maintain contact with suppliers, subcontractors, and the production organization to coordinate technical specifications. - Bachelor's degree level, preferably in Mechanical Engineering or Maritime Technology
- Excellent command of Dutch and English
- Experience with Autocad and Cadmatic, as well as the MS Office package, including MS Project
- Experience in the maritime sector is a plus, as well as knowledge of ship certification processes
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Team player mentality
- A competitive salary between €3500 and €4500
