As a Maritime Engineering Project Manager, you will serve as the technical linchpin in complex new-build projects for luxury superyachts. From the moment a contract is signed through to the yacht’s delivery, you will be responsible for the technical aspects of the project.
You will work closely with the Project Manager, engineering, procurement, suppliers, co-builders, and production teams. In doing so, you will oversee the technical specifications, scheduling, budgets, and quality requirements throughout the entire construction process.
You are responsible for the technical disciplines on board, including:
- Mechanical systems;
- Electrical systems;
- Structural and naval architecture aspects;
- Regulations, certification, and classification requirements;
- Design and engineering issues.
In addition, you maintain contact with representatives of the client, suppliers, and other stakeholders. You assess technical designs and engineering documentation for feasibility, quality, and cost, and ensure that all relevant departments have the correct information to successfully execute the project.

We are looking for a candidate who has:
- A completed technical bachelor’s degree, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related field;
- Extensive experience in a project-based role within the shipbuilding, yacht building, or maritime sector;
- Thorough knowledge of the construction of complex ships or superyachts;
- Experience with technical project coordination, engineering processes, and supplier management;
- Knowledge of relevant regulations, classification requirements, and quality standards within the maritime sector;
- Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English, both verbal and written.
