As a Schema Specialist at our company, located in the Northern Netherlands, you play a crucial role in the technical department. You are responsible for designing and calculating complex engine room systems and piping installations for various types of ships. You translate your technical concepts into clear diagrams that seamlessly fit the practical needs on board.

A typical workday involves designing technical piping diagrams and performing essential calculations for pressure loss and heat balance. You work closely with the Lead Engineer and other departments to ensure that all components, such as pumps and valves, are optimally positioned according to international regulations. Daily, you utilize tools like AutoCAD and Excel to bring your designs to life.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Shipbuilding, or equivalent.
• Experience in yacht or shipbuilding is a plus.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, and preferably Cadmatic.
• Knowledge of classification requirements (e.g., DNV, Lloyd’s).
• Strong technical insight and interest in maritime technology.
• Critical, precise, and communicatively skilled.
• Proficiency in both Dutch and English.
