Summary
For a leading shipbuilder in the luxury yacht industry, we are seeking an experienced marine metalworker for the aluminium department. You will work on high-quality superstructures with high precision requirements and contribute to the realization of exclusive motor yachts.
About the function


As a marine metalworker, you work in the aluminium department where complex superstructures for luxury yachts are assembled. These superstructures consist of sections (up to approximately 14 meters) and individual units, with a total length of up to 35 meters and a weight between 12 and 25 tons.

Your duties include, among others:

  • Assembling aluminium structures based on drawings and bills of materials
  • Tack welding in all positions using MIG/MAG (CO2)
  • Material processing using plasma cutting, grinding, and milling
  • Inspecting and assembling parts from construction kits
  • Working with measuring instruments such as a theodolite and spirit level
  • Operating a crane and safely hoisting/moving materials
  • Ensuring a clean, safe, and organized work environment

In this role, you will work both independently and as part of a team, delivering work with very high accuracy (tolerances down to -3 mm).

What we need
  • Experience as a marine metalworker or in a similar position
  • Experience with MIG/MAG (CO2) tack welding in all positions
  • Ability to read technical drawings and bills of materials
  • Experience with plasma cutting, grinding, and milling
  • Experience with measuring instruments such as theodolites and leveling instruments
  • Able to work independently as well as in a team
  • Experience with safe hoisting and crane operation
  • Has own tools
  • Good command of Dutch, English, or Polish
  • Accurate, quality-oriented, and an eye for detail
