About the function

As an experienced Ship Repair Metalworker, you are responsible for repairing and transforming ships in our full-service dock. You will create various onboard constructions, weld, cut, and work with different tools. Together with your team, you ensure that ships quickly return to service in top condition. No week is the same. One week, you might be performing a quinquennial maintenance, while the next you could be repairing a dent in the bow. You will also engage in large projects like extending ships. Here, you build new sections and install them with precision. What we need

Minimum MBO level 4 or equivalent work and thinking level 2 to 10+ years of experience in shipbuilding
Creative thinking and problem-solving skills
Accuracy and attention to detail
Strong communication skills in English
