As a Steel Fabricator in Section Construction, you will be involved in building steel ship sections for new-build projects. You will assemble structural components based on technical drawings, tack and weld parts, and check that the work meets the specified quality requirements. You will work alongside an experienced team on challenging projects within the shipbuilding industry.

Your duties will include:

• Assembling steel structures based on technical drawings.
• Clamping and welding structural components.
• Checking dimensions and quality.
• Working in accordance with safety and quality regulations.
• Collaborating with colleagues within the section construction team.

• Proven experience as a steelworker or fitter in shipbuilding or steel construction.
• Experience with MIG/MAG tack welding and welding work.
• Ability to read technical drawings independently.
• Ability to work accurately and have an eye for quality.
• Safety-conscious and a true team player.
• VCA certificate or willingness to obtain one.
