As a welder at our client’s facility, you will report directly to the shop foreman. In this role, you will be responsible for independently welding structures and components according to technical drawings and specifications. You will ensure that the weld work meets the required quality standards and delivers a clean and durable finish.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Welding structures according to drawings
• Working with MAG 135/138 welding processes
• Inspecting welds for quality and finish
• Conducting final visual inspections
• Performing finishing work on structures as needed
• Collaborating with assemblers and other colleagues in the workshop

Authorities

• Stopping work in unsafe situations
• Identifying and reporting areas for improvement
• Proposing corrective and improvement measures
