As a welder at our shipbuilding company, you will be responsible for creating high-quality welds that contribute to the construction of innovative ships. Based in our facility in Farmsum, Northern Netherlands, you will work closely with the foreman to determine the optimal welding sequence and methods. Utilizing advanced welding equipment, including a double angle welding machine and a weaving machine, you will ensure each welding project meets our stringent quality standards. A typical day involves managing the weld pool by adjusting the arc length, travel speed, and electrode/torch position. Your day begins with a team briefing, after which you dive into your welding projects. It’s your responsibility to clean and brush the welds after completion, ensuring they are free from slag and spatters. • Diploma BmbE level 3 and Mag level 3.
• Welding certificates: 138 BW/FW PE/PB, 136 BW/FW PF/PB, 111 BW/FW PF/PB, preferably 111 BW/FW PC/PB as well.
• Experience in shipbuilding welding is a plus.
• Ability to work accurately and follow company and safety regulations.
• Capable of working well in a team environment.

• Salary between €17 and €19 per hour.
