For a project at a shipyard in Kaag, we are looking for a qualified welder. 

Your duties will consist of welding work on board ships, with a focus on:

• Welding of pipes (pipe welding)
• Construction work such as brackets and supports
• Working with various materials such as stainless steel, steel, and cunifer
• Performing precise and high-quality welding work according to specifications

You will work in a dynamic environment within the luxury yacht building industry, where quality and precision are paramount.

Our client is a technical service provider within the shipbuilding and industrial sectors. From their location in Hoogezand, they provide specialized welding and assembly work for leading shipyards and projects in the Netherlands and abroad. The organization is known for craftsmanship, reliability, and high-quality technical services.

We are looking for a candidate who meets the following requirements:

• In possession of a valid welding certificate issued by an IACS member (such as Bureau Veritas, Lloyd’s, or DNV)
• Demonstrable experience with pipe welding
• Experience with stainless steel, steel, and cunifer
• Ability to work independently from drawings
• Flexible and motivated work attitude
• Experience in shipbuilding is a plus
