In this position, you will be involved in manufacturing high-quality stainless steel components that are visible and functional on superyachts. This involves fine and precise welding work, with a focus on quality, appearance and finish. You will weld and process various stainless steel components such as doors, hatches and other customised parts that form part of the yacht construction. You will work on a wide range of projects, varying from constructions and frames to specific customised solutions. This is not series work, but rather varied work in which almost every component is unique.

As a skilled professional, you will read technical drawings and translate them into an accurate and high-quality end product. You will assemble parts, weld them using the TIG welding process and then ensure a neat and high-quality finish. In doing so, you will check your own work for dimensions, quality and the final weld appearance. In addition to carrying out the work, you will actively contribute ideas about the manufacturability of parts and possible improvements in the production process.
You work closely with colleagues in the workshop and are in regular contact with the planning office and the engineering department to ensure that every component meets the high quality standards required in superyacht construction.
For this position, we are looking for a skilled professional with experience as a bench worker and/or stainless steel welder. You are proficient in the TIG welding process for stainless steel and preferably also have experience with MIG welding. In addition, you are accustomed to working with technical drawings and can work independently and accurately. An eye for detail, quality and a neat finish are essential in this role, as the parts are visible on luxury yachts where only the highest standards are accepted.
